Did you enjoy the ToyCon '09?
ToyCon '09
I'm pretty sure every current member who's in this site has been to the ToyCon and received an invitation from the Mysterious Stranger (hell, I went on BOTH days).
So... how was it? What were your hauls from this great event?

I've enjoyed it but my feet and wallet hurts a lot right now. And my eyes! My goodness my eyes! It has been damaged after seeing the naked cosplayer group
Could've enjoyed more if I had money
I'm not an expert on toys and anime and superheroes and other leet what-nots, but I had a great time just looking around. I was drooling over the Ferrari model cars and those from the movie "Cars." I wanna buy 'em all!

I think nearly everyone shares the same sentiments.
The Toycon was great, a good place to burn a lot of money! (and your eyes)

Re: ToyCon '09
Well, I think we all had a great time.
Though I wish the item I was saving up for was there that time...
Despite that setback, I walked home with several comics, notably a rare mail-order issue of Violent Messiahs and some random issue of Iron Man. On day two, I bagged a Wing Gundam Zero Custom SD kit. Surprisingly, I still had enough money to buy more stuff, but I had to save for "next time".
There's next year! Hope to see you guys there!

Yep. Hopefully we see each other on the next convention. Together with the mysterious "Card Guy"
I couldn't find Hasbro Marvel Legends Fantastic Four action figures during ToyCon so that made me sad for a bit.

Grrr....I envy you all for coming to Toy Con. I was not able to come.. I saw that it was featured in TV Patrol under Mark Logan's segment. It was really funny how he presented all the happenings during the event. I should have went there. Well...its already done..I hope I can come nect time...

Re: ToyCon '09
i'd say this year toycon was bigger. definitely a lot more cosplayers and more shops selling more stuff. bad thing was it was a few days before payday and i didn't bring a camera. *sigh* oh well.
i went to toycon on day 1. wasn't really looking for anything in particualr, maybe some loose GI Joes that i wanted. the new box set wasn't up to my budget but i still went home with a good find. a rei ayanami/asuka langley microman pack!
maybe by the next toycon, leetcountry will be a big forum in full swing!
